I want to track 1099's but I don't have a workers tab.

The option to track 1099s in QuickBooks Self-Employed is unavailable.

What you can do is sign up for our E-file service website. This will allow you to enter your contractor's details and submit their 1099 form to the IRS.

Here's how:

1. Go to the 1099 E-File Service page. 
2. Click Start for FREE.
3. Type in the email address and select No, I'll enter my 1099 data.
4. Hit Continue.
