Thanks for joining the Community space, @userdirtydianashotch.

Once done setting up QuickBooks payments or other payment processing, you can now integrate QuickBooks API to connect through Intuit Developer. This way, you'll be provided with a Sandbox QuickBooks Online company on developer.intuit.com that can be used for development and testing, so the payments go straight to your checking account. Here's how:

  1. Create an account in Intuit Developer portal.
  2.  Create an app under your developer account. This will get you a set of client id and client secrets that will be required to connect your app with the QuickBooks company (sandbox or production) and retrieve OAuth tokens.
  3. Client keys are available under “Keys&OAuth” tab of your app.
  4. Use the client keys to generate OAuth tokens. This can be done using OAuthPlayground or programmatically using one of our SDKs

For additional information about OAuth Library, check out this article: OAuth 2.0 for server-side web apps.

I'm also attaching the Sign up for QuickBooks Payments article. It contains some information about how accepting payments online works and the signup process.

For your reference, you can always scan through these links below that contain details about how your customers can pay their invoices online on how online payments works:
