QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop have different payroll features. There are data that will and won't convert when you migrate. You can check out this link on what to expect when you switch from QuickBooks Desktop to QuickBooks Online.
Direct deposit liabilities have a zero balance and a negative liability is caused by duplicate or missing liability paychecks. You can recreate the voided direct deposit paycheck to balance it out.
