Importing Time from 3rd Party Software into QuickBooks Online Payroll

Our organization uses a 3rd party software company to track time. I am trying to figure out if / how it is possible to import time data into QuickBooks Online.

I am able to export the time (and other relevant information) from our other software program. I just can't figure out the best way to import it into QuickBooks Online.

Do I have to use "TSheets" and import it somehow into that?

Or, is there another way to import time directly into QuickBooks Online without having to use TSheets?

(I also understand that I may need to use a file conversion service like SaasAnt or similar in order to get my file into the correct format).

Any help is appreciated. Thank you!

Correct. You may need an importer tool

https:// transactionpro.grsm.io/qbo

Prepare the data with the following template

TxnDateNameTimeStartTimeEndTimeDescriptionBillableStatusCustomerServiceItemHourlyRateTaxableClassLocation
01/10/2020Mike's Traders5  Sample Time Activity using hours and decimal Janice JohnsonHours
01/10/2020Eagle Outfitters4.5  Sample Time Activity using hours only Janice JohnsonHours
01/10/2020Mary Smith0.5  Sample Time Activity using hours and minutesBillableJanice JohnsonENG Svs:12075FALSE

As another option, consider using a supporting time tracker app to integrate with QB directly.
