In opening a online payroll account, the wrong bank account number was input. I need to delete the wrong number and input the correct number, but verify prevents this?

In opening a online payroll account, the wrong bank account number was input. I need to delete the wrong number and input the correct number, but verify prevents this?

I appreciate all the information, @performance1enco,

 

If you entered an incorrect bank account for electronic payroll services. You will need to wait until the test verification debit offloads. It usually happens after 5:00 PM, as long as the bank information was entered on a business day.

 

You will know when it does when the option to verify the test transaction appears. The verification must fail in order to change the bank account information. Follow these steps to do that:

 

  1. Click the Cogwheel icon and select Payroll Settings.
  2. Choose Company under Bank Accounts.
  3. Add any 2 digits like 01, and hit Verify. Do this 3 times. Entering test transaction 3 times fails the verification.
  4. Once the verification fails, you can now update your bank account information.
