In QBO Advanced I am adding a new user with the role Time Track Only. When I click on Send Invite I get the message "Sync your team member to send an invite" Help please?

To begin, the prompt you encountered indicates that the user you're inviting isn't linked to an existing team member in the system. In this case, let's sync the added user to ensure they have a defined identity and the appropriate permissions. I'd be glad to guide you through this process.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. In the Add User page, expand the Time tracking section.
  2. Click the Sync team member button.

  3. A pop-up will appear. From the drop-down menu, choose an existing vendor or employee, or create a new one if needed.
  4. Hit Sync, then proceed to click the Send Invite button.

 

After this, your user can start tracking time for your company.
