Is it a glitch that shows me that I need to set up my Payroll account when it already is set up? Should I be getting notifications of tasks that I have already finished?

These tasks reappeared in the last couple of days and I thought I completed them last month.

Let's get this working so you can start paying your employees, michelle177.

 

You should no longer receive a notification if you've already complete the payroll setup. Although, there are times that browser issues can cause unusual prompts or notifications in the program. 

 

I will give you some steps that can resolve some of the most common browser issues in QBO. 

 

Use an incognito/private browsing session or switch to completely different browser. Use these keyboard shortcuts to open an incognito session, depending on the browser that you're using:

 

  • Ctrl Shift N  for Google Chrome
  • Ctrl Shift P for Firefox
  • Control Option +if you're using Safari
  • Ctrl Shift P for Microsoft Edge

 
After that, go back to your account and check if you can run payroll with out the notification. If you can, go back to the regular browsing session and to delete your browsing history.

That did not seem to help any.  When I do try and click on the link to set up payroll (even though it already is) it ends up taking me back to the first page and not set up anyway.  So it keeps going in a circle.
