Hello melissa44, we're delighted to have you here in the Community!
A payroll can be changed/deleted, it all depends on what the status is. If the payroll has already gone through, then it won't be possible to edit or delete it.
Here are the steps to verify the current status of a payroll:
1. In the menu bar at the top of QuickBooks, choose Employees, then My Payroll Service, then Account/Billing Information.
2. Sign in using your login information.
3. Click View Payroll Activity in the direct deposit section.
4. Enter your direct deposit PIN.
5. Look in the Create Paychecks area for the payroll you're wanting to edit/delete.
6. Review the Status column to identify what the current status of the payroll in question is.
As long as the payroll in question is displayed in the Create Paychecks section, you'll be able to change or delete it.
If you have any other questions surrounding this, please let me know.
Yes, you can change or delete payroll prior to sending it to Intuit.
