Is there a way to defer Federal Payroll Taxes?

In response to the COVID-19 situation, federal tax payment related to 2019 taxes due 4/15/2020 can defer their tax payment, free of penalties and interest for 90 days for the purpose of the relief.

Since your payroll taxes are automatic in QuickBooks Online (QBO), I highly suggest contacting our Payroll Support team to check if they can turn this off for you. They have tools that can pull up your account in a secure environment.

Here's how to reach them:

1. In QBO, go to the Help (Question mark) icon at the top right.
2. Select Contact Us at the bottom to connect with our live support.
