Is there somewhere to find a legend for symbols used on quickbooks? I'm currently trying to figure out what arrows pointing east and west one on top of the other mean.

The arrow symbols in the Chart of Accounts mean that those accounts are connected to Online Banking. You can see them in the Banking page.

1. Click Banking/Transactions on the left menu and go to the Banking tab.
2. Highlight the bank account you're working with.
3. You'll see there the balances (Bank and In QuickBooks) and the downloaded transactions.

From the Banking page, you can click Go to bank register so it will route your to the Chart of Accounts (account register).
