Many of my employees did not and will not work for the month of March and maybe April too. I pay $4 per employee on payroll. Is there a way to pause them in payroll?

Hi there, @anniemeinberg

Its my priority to help you sort this out.

We can make your employees inactive for the meantime and activate them again once they starting to work back. This way will prevent you from any charge on the payroll. Let me guide you on how to Inactive your employees.

  1. Go to the Workers, then choose Employees.
  2. Select the specific employee you want to inactivate.
  3. Under Employement click the pencil icon.
  4. From the Status drop-down arrow and select Terminated
  5. Click Done

This way, you will no longer be charge. However if you wish to active your workers again you can check this article for the steps: Add, edit, or inactivate an employee

Please let me know how it goes by clicking the Reply button. I'll be here to help you in any way I can. Have a great day!
