Join nowI need to merge the payroll data that is generated by my payroll company Oasis into my Quickbooks file. How might I go about doing this?
I see where in Oasis I am able to export the payroll data into Excel format. Where should I go from there?
Thanks!
You may import the data as Journal Entries by an importer tool.

I've come to share details about merging your payroll data to QuickBooks Online (QBO), @cn561. This way, you're able to manage your files accordingly.
You're able to enter your year-to-date payroll data to QBO during your account setup or before creating paychecks in the program. For the time being, you'll have to either enter your data through the prior payroll process or integrating a third-party application. This way, you can merge your data from your Oasis company to QBO. To do this, you can visit the Apps menu and search for the one that best suits your business needs (i.e., data importer).
In case you've already submitted your tax forms, you can also import your historical payroll data as Journal Entry (JE) into QBO. However, I'd recommend consulting your accountant when doing so to keep your financial data accurate.
In the meantime, here's an article that'll further guide you in managing your payroll account and employees using QBO: QuickBooks Help Articles. It also includes topics about setting up and editing payroll and money movement, to name a few. You can click the + More topics button to view other selections.
Let me know how it goes in the comments below. If you have other concerns about importing payroll data to QBO, I'm just around to help. Take care always.
