Mileage is not tracking How do you split and change to an amount instead of percentage?

Welcome aboard to the Community space, @adholbert.

I'll make sure you'll be able to track your mileage seamlessly.

Just to ensure we're on the same page here, are you using an Android device? If so, I can provide some insights on how to isolate and fix this issue. Here's how:

  1. Check the locations settings of your device.
  2. Disconnect and reconnect your Wi-Fi or data.
  3. Adjust your mileage settings.
  4. Turn off background data and battery restrictions.
  5. Then update your operating system and QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) mobile app.

You can also see this article for more details: Fix mileage tracking issues in QuickBooks Self-Employed for Android.

In regards to splitting your transaction and changing it to amount instead of percentage, you can refer to steps outlined in this article: Split transactions in QuickBooks Self-Employed.

In case you're using an iOS device, we have an ongoing investigation where some users are unable to track their mileage in iOS. Rest assured our engineering team is working 24/7 to fix this. In the meantime, you'll want to manually track your mileage in QBSE

Moreover, I recommend contacting our Support team so you'll be added to the list of affected users. This way, you'll be notified through email once the issue is resolved.

Once everything is all set, you might want to check out this resource for reference in categorizing your transactions: Categorize transactions in QuickBooks Self-Employed.

You can always count on me if you have other queries about tracking your mileage in QBSE. I can also assist you in case you have any other concerns about your account. Keep safe and have a good one!
