Mileage will not show up on the browser site, only on mobile app. My vehicles show up (even dating back a few years), but mileage tracked on mobile doesn't show on QBO.

I've been using the QBO mileage tracker over the past 4 years and have been forced to categorize all of that mileage on the mobile app rather than the browser. I've made multiple requests for support, and all cases mysteriously get closed, made worse by the lack of asynchronous troubleshooting and support by QBO. As the end user, it's very clear that QBO skirts all forms of documentable accountability, making us just deal with whatever portion of QBO happens to be functional at the time while simultaneously dodging any significant responsibility of support.

Hi there, @pleasegiveusanemail.

If I were also in your shoe I'll definitely feel the same way if my support wasn't able to give me the right resolution to fix my issue regarding QuickBooks Online mileage.

My apologies if I'm misunderstanding the function of this site, but was that response supposed to solve my issue?

Hi Cody,

I understand that your first post was taken differently. I'll share your feedback with my colleague.

On the other hand, I acknowledge the fact that you have contacted our QBO Support about the non-syncing mileage entries. You've probably gone through basic troubleshooting steps, like signing into QBO with a private browser and clearing your cached files. In other words, the things we can suggest from here. Therefore, I will let you contact them again, so they can look into your cases.

If you need help with anything else, feel free to let me know by commenting back here.

Just curious how far that will get me. I've opened a case that got ignored. How should I proceed, then? I have no email address to follow up on and no way to contact the people originally on my case. Can I have an email address to contact regarding QBO issues?

Hi Brian, just following up here to see if this is a global issue or if I'm the only person who's experienced all mileage being lost on the desktop version of QBO Essentials. Thanks!

Let's get you connected to the appropriate channel that properly addresses your concern about non-syncing mileage entries, cody38.

I've checked with my resources, and I'm unable to find an open investigation similar to what you're experiencing. I know that you've reached out to our QuickBooks Online (QBO) Care Team about the issue. I still recommend contacting them again for further assistance.

If you have the case number on hand, make sure to provide it to them. One of our specialists will go over the notes from your previous call or chat. From there, they’ll continue performing the troubleshooting steps where they left off and raise a ticket if there are many users affected by the issue.

To obtain the support details:

  1. In your company, head to the Help icon in the upper right to display the support window.
  2. Choose the Assistant tab and then enter a brief description of your concern in the Type something field.
  3. Click the Get help from a human link and type a phrase or keyword in the What can we help you with? field.
  4. Press the Continue button to view the support options.
  5. Choose Chat to connect with a live expert or Callback to speak with an agent.

I've included this article that tackles recording business miles for one or more vehicles, as well as information about handling trips in QBO:
