Missouri unemployment

 I paid salary in 2018 however my Missouri unemployment form does not populate that salary for some reason.  It also will not let me manually enter the employees amounts.

Hello there, @Albertj, 


Let's get the employees' salary and SUI amounts to show on your Missouri Unemployment form. 


If you've set up the SUI on your employee's profile after creating paychecks, it will possibly cause QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) Payroll to not populate those amounts. 


To help fix this, you'll have to run the Payroll Checkup. This is an easy alternative method to reviewing payroll reports. Let's first create and save a backup of your company file before running it. Here's how: 


  1. Go to the Employees menu at the top. 
  2. Select My Payroll Service
  3. Choose Run Payroll Checkup.
  4. Follow the onscreen instructions and click Continue to go through the various steps. 


Then, you can review the employee setup using the Employee Withholding report. This way, you can correct the wage and tax amounts for them. Here's how: 


  1. Go to Reports menu at the top.
  2. Select Employees and Payroll.
  3. Choose Employee Withholding.
  4. Review the report for any setup error.
  5. Correct employee setup.
  6. Run a payroll checkup.
  7. Click Step 6 for Data Review.
  8. In the Review your payroll data window, click OK
