Must an employee in QBO require Admin user account to automatically track and be reimbursed for business mileage using their personal vehicle?

Yes. Currently, only admin users can track mileage in QuickBooks Online.

Here's how to turn on mileage tracking:

1. On the QuickBooks Online app, tap the ☰ icon.
2.  Select Mileage.
3. Tap Auto-tracking.
4. Turn on Auto-tracking.

From there, you'll need to set the location permissions for auto-tracking to work on your mobile device. Before tracking miles, you'll have to add your vehicle information.
