update the employee information, you can follow the steps below:
- Open QuickBooks Online and go to Payroll.
- Select Employees, then Add an employee.
- If you want the employee to add some of their own info, enter the following in the Personal Info section:
- Enter the info in each section, then select Done.
If you've already provided a US address, and yet you're still getting the error, we can perform some troubleshooting steps to fix the issue. There are times that the browser is full of frequently accessed page resources that may cause some unusual responses. To isolate this, you can log into your
QuickBooks Online (QBO) account in a private window (incognito). Here's how:
- Press Ctrl + Shift + N (Google Chrome).
- Ctrl + Shift + P (Firefox).
- Control + Option + P (Safari).
Once signed in, double-check if you're still getting the error. If you're able to successfully set up your information as an employee, return to your default browser
clear your browser's cache to speed up the loading process. Every so often the cache becomes overwhelmed with older data which can potentially cause viewing and performance issues.
