Hi @dave117,

You can reset your app to refresh your data. Let me walk you through how.

  1. Go to the Hamburger menu ().
  2. Select Help & Feedback.
  3. Click Refresh.

With these steps, you'll be able to sync or update your mileage with QuickBooks. Please see this handy article for more troubleshooting Quick-Start Guide for the QuickBooks Online app.

We also have a guide on QuickBooks Online mobile devices for an overview of the system requirements needed for the device to run smoothly.

Thanks for providing more details, @dave117.

Let's perform some steps to make sure your trips will sync to QuickBooks Online (QBO). First off, let's ensure your phone's location permission is set to "Always". Also, for the most accurate trip tracking, you'll have to enable Motion and Fitness permission.

If these permissions were already allowed but your trips weren't still syncing, you can manually add them so you can track it again in QBO. Check out this awesome article for more details: How to track mileage in QBO?.

Moreover, you can manually track your mileage in QBO for multiple vehicles. Please refer to this article for additional insights: How to manually track mileage in QBO?.

Hit the Reply button if you still need help with managing your trips in QBO. I'm here to ensure you achieve your goals. Stay safe, @dave117.

Thanks. Before you sent this, I had logged out of the app and logged back in, and I lost all of my trips from May 9 - May 23 that were in my iOS app. Those trips are now gone and aren't in my Quickbooks online queue for Review. Oh well, I appreciate your reply. I don't think the refresh would have solved my problem - that would have push the Quickbooks data to my app, not pushed the mileage trips sitting in my iOS app to my Quickbooks online.

I am having a similar problem. I recently added all of my vehicles to quickbooks online, then it stopped tracking/syncing online and only tracks on my phone now. I did the refresh on my phone app and still no syncing. Also, when reviewing the trips why is there no option to select which vehicle?

Good day, lbinaloha.

I have some additional steps that can help us in resolving this error. The first one is by making sure that the QuickBooks Online mobile app is on the latest release. Check the app on your Google Play or App Store.

Also, we need to update your device to the latest version of Android or the latest version of iOS. This is because the newer versions have the updated patch that can fix issues with the device and the app.

If this behavior continues, you'll want to uninstall and reinstall the app. In the meantime, you can manually track them. You can follow these steps:

  1. Sign in to QuickBooks Online in a web browser.
  2. Go to the Mileage or Trips menu and select Add Trip.
  3. Add the trip date, starting and ending locations, distance, and the purpose.
  4. Select Save.

Here are some of the articles related to mileage:

Please don't hesitate to post again if you have additional concerns. Take care always!
