Hi there, @ccavanaugh3000,
Thank you for reaching out to us here in the Community.
Let's re-activate your electronic services after you've changed your MA withholding schedule.
In QuickBooks Online Payroll (QBOP), changing your state deposit schedule will automatically deactivate e-services. Yes, you can file electronically through the MA Tax Connect site but I'll guide you through how to re-activate it in QBOP the quickest possible time.
You'll just need to re-enroll in electronic services and send a new authorization form. This way, it will expedite the e-services reactivation process. Here's how:
- Go to the Gear icon from the left menu.
- Select Payroll Settings.
- Select E-file and e-pay.
- Select E-pay and e-file (recommended), then check the Federal and MA taxes.
- Select Next to proceed with the e-services interview.
- Select Print and Sign to view and print the authorization form.
- Print, sign, and fax the forms.
To fax this authorization form faster, you'll need the assistance of our QBOP Support Team. This way, one of our agents will securely access your account and help receive the form. Here's how to reach out to them:
- Go to https://help.quickbooks.intuit.com/en_US/contact.
- Choose QuickBooks Online.
- Select your QuickBooks Online version.
- On the Contact Us page, click a topic.
- Scroll down the page, then click Get Phone Number.
After you contact our Payroll Support Team, they'll complete your MA e-services enrollment within 1 to 2 business days.
The steps above will help you continue your ability to pay and file electronically in QBOP. Stay in touch with me if you have other payroll concerns, I'm always here to help. Have an awesome day!
