It's possible that some updates on your mobile device can affect the ability to track mileage on your QuickBooks Self-Employed app. Make sure to check on your phone’s settings, so your trips are tracked correctly,
You can check out these articles that includes the detailed troubleshooting steps for tracking mileage:

I have the same issue - seems something to do with the new FY. Logged a ticket - awaiting a reply.
The 2020 year does not show up when you go to enter the opening odometer reading in edit vehicles.
Hi @Wizaed01,
I appreciate the details you've provided on your post.
Given that you've already contacted Technical Support for the issue you mentioned, I suggest for you to wait for an update from their end.
In case you're using an iOS device to access the QuickBooks Self-Employed mobile app, then I suggest you get in contact with our Technical Support teams once again. We have an ongoing investigation for our iOS users that's specific to the mileage tracker, and they can add you to the list of our affected users. You can refer to this investigation number: INV-46574.
You can keep these articles for future reference:

Thanks. I wasn't able to see the response from support the link didn't work so any help would be great.
Hi there Wizaed01. The usual culprit of this is the miles haven't been reviewed yet. To do this just follow these steps:
If the miles don't appear here, they weren't tracked. But there's still the option to import your google timeline to account for the missing miles. To do so head over the articleon importing Google Timeline into QuickBooks Self-Employed. It has step by step instructions on the process. If you need anything else I'll be here to answer any questions. Have a great rest of your day.
Thanks for the reply.
No it's not that. The problem is there is no option for the new FY 2020 to enter the starting odometer when you go into edit the vehicle - only shows 2015 through 2019. Refer the attached photo.
