Usually, direct deposit payroll (DD) is offloaded two banking days before the paycheck date. You can delete the paycheck until 4:59 PM PT on the day you submit it. After 5 pm PT, we can't stop the DD process.
When that happens, you can either wait for the funds to be deposited into the employees' bank account or request a reversal. However, it will take 5 banking days and there's a &75 charge for the reversal.
