My status is showing "Active" on my account but when we try to do payroll we aren't getting any of the tax items being withheld

My status is showing "Active" on my account but when we try to do payroll we aren't getting any of the tax items being withheld

Hi mary48,

 

You'll want to update the latest tax table and re-enter your service key to make sure tax items are correctly withheld. Here's how

  1. Click the Employees menu
  2. Select Get Payroll Updates.
  3. Select the Download Entire Update checkbox.
  4. Select Download Latest Update. You'll see a window when the download is complete.

Then, re-enter your service key.

  1. Click the Employees menu.
  2. Select Payroll.
  3. Enter Payroll Service Key.
  4. Select Add on the QuickBooks Service Sign-Up screen.
  5. Enter your Service Key, click Next.
  6. Enter your Desk Delivery Key, click Next.

Once done, revert your employee's paycheck. 

  1. Click the Employees menu.
  2. Select Employees.
  3. Select Revert Paycheck.
