Need to be able to locate W2 from 2018, not archived

I'm here to show you how to locate the W-2 form, tom132.

If you've filed the W-2 from 2018 in QuickBooks, a copy of the form will be automatically archived. You can follow these steps to view the form:

  1. Go to Taxes on the left panel, and select Payroll Tax.
  2. In the Forms section, click the View and Print Archived Forms link under Annual Forms.
  3. Select W-2 from the second drop-down menu.
  4. Click the W-2, Copies B, C & 2 link and select the View button.

Please see this sample screenshot for a visual guide:

Otherwise, run a Payroll Tax and Wage Summary report to see the figures.

Here's how:

  1. On the left panel, click Reports, and type Payroll Tax and Wage Summary in the search box.
  2. Make sure to select the entire calendar year from the Date Range.
  3. Click Run Report

This was hugely helpful. I still need to speak with a member of your team because the W2 was not archived, but you covered pretty much every decision branch, and I am hugely grateful.
