I have had the same netpay and gross pay for this employee but when I try and generate the check the net pay is different then what is is supposed to be.

Hey there, 24_Zoom.


The net pay is the amount after payroll taxes and other items have been deducted. Let's check the paycheck details to verify why it has a different amount.


Here's how:

  1. Click Reports.
  2. Choose Payroll Details.
  3. Click the Range drop-down arrow, then choose Last pay date.
  4. Click Update Report.

The report will show the taxes and items breakdown.
