New terms and conditions for employee fees effective 2-1-2026

We received and email with this in the body ... "We've revised our terms and conditions to include an industry standard per employee fee. The per employee fee went into effect on February 1, 2026. Please see FAQs for more information. As part of your renewal, you acknowledge that you are the approval authority for this customer account. To avoid payroll service discontinuation, please accept the terms and conditions [Link removed by moderator]. If you have already provided consent, no further action is needed."

When we click on "please accept the new terms and conditions" nothing happens.  I have been able to find out if we have already provided consent on the platform or in support.  How can I confirm that we've already consented to the new terms/

Thanks,

Terri S.

Hello TSPanCM. Yes, that's correct, this is the CAMPs email about the new employee fee terms. To confirm that your consent has been captured and ensure the terms are active on your account, the best next step is to contact our live support team directly. They can start a quick screen-sharing session to verify your account status in real-time.

Are you using QB Desktop 2023 or 2024?

New terms and conditions for employee fees effective 2-1-2026

Welcome to the Community, TSPanCM.

There is a publication on Intuit's official website about a per employee fee becoming effective by February 1, 2026. This applies to all customers who run payroll through QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise Gold or Platinum and will be billed monthly, always aligning with the same day of the month as your subscription renewal date.

To avoid service interruption, you'll need to sign in to the Customer Account Management Portal (CAMPs) and accept the new terms and conditions if they apply to your account.

You can also review our Understand changes to your per employee fees article for further detailed information on this topic.

As for the email you received and the web addresses (URLs) you provided in this post; they don't appear to be official Intuit.com web addresses. Phishing, spam, and spoofing are schemes used to steal personal or account information. Fraudsters sometimes impersonate companies like Intuit, and may use emails, text messages (SMS), phone calls, fake websites, etc. These messages can look legitimate and often use urgent language to pressurize the recipient to click a link, download an attachment, or provide sensitive info, such as a password.

You can protect your data by learning how to identify official Intuit communications, spot fake messages, and follow best security practices.

Here's how to identify official Intuit resources:

  • Official Intuit emails and websites follow specific domain patters.
  • Intuit emails come from an email address that will always end with "@intuit.com" (for example: @account.intuit.com).
  • Official Intuit websites end in intuit.com. Examples include quickbooks.intuit.com, e3.intuit.com, and click.notifications.intuit.com.
  • Links in Intuit emails will point to an intuit.com address.

Be wary of slightly altered domain names that look like intuit.com, but aren't.

If you've already clicked on a suspicious link, or entered your sign in details, you'll want to act quickly:

  • Change your password immediately if you entered it on a suspicious website. This stops anyone who captured it from continuing to use it.
  • Turn on Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) or a Passkey.
  • Review the account activity by signing in directly on the official website. Check for unfamiliar transactions, profile or settings changes, or new/changed users.
  • Run antivirus and/or security software on your device. Some phishing links are known to install malware that can steal passwords or monitor activity.
  • Consider re-imaging or resetting your device (restoring it to factory settings) if malware is found, or you suspect a compromise. Some malware can hijack active sessions so attackers can use your account without the password again. A full reset or re-image can remove that. If you're not sure how to do it safely, contact a trusted IT professional.
  • Contact Intuit support if you notice any unauthorized transactions or changes you didn't make. Reporting quickly helps with investigation and limiting damage.

To help stop similar scams and protect other customers, you can report suspicious emails from the Intuit Online Security Center. Scroll to your Security section to learn how to report a security issue.

I've also included a detailed resource about working with suspicious activity which you may find useful moving forward: Identify suspicious activity & phishing scams

Please don't hesitate to send a reply if there's any additional questions. Have a wonderful Thursday!

The email is legit.  It came from [email address removed].  The link in the emails points to Camps login to self service.

Log in to CAMPS and ensure your QB Desktop 2024 and Enhanced Payroll subscription license status are active. You can also consider renewing your QB Desktop Plus license through a reseller this year and get a $300 cashback.
