Not able to create Payroll service PIN and get latest Payroll updates.

Hello westfieldvictory,

 

When you enter a Payroll Service PIN, you can only have three consecutive attempts. Otherwise, you'll be locked out temporarily.

 

For us to reset your PIN, you'll need to download the PIN request form and comply the requirements. You can go to the Reset a lost or forgotten PIN section of this article to see the details: Change PIN for processing direct deposit payroll.

 

After sending the requirements, you can contact our Payroll Support Team to get the new PIN:

  1. Click Help at the top menu and select QuickBooks Desktop Help.
  2. Select Contact us and then enter that you get Reminder prompts. 
  3. Select Continue
  4. Choose either to Message an Agent or Talk to a Specialist

Meanwhile, your QuickBooks might not be on the latest release. Hence, you're unable to get the payroll updates. It's always best to keep both functions updated. 

These updates would help QuickBooks to perform on its maximum potential.
