Join nowI received a notice from NYS about payroll taxes. Where do I send it for resolution?
Solved! Go to Solution.
Hello, Denise Patriot.
I can route you to the team where you can send the notice for resolution.
You'll want to send us the notice so we can look into it for resolution. If you have the regular payroll service, here's how to reach us:
If you're using our Assisted Payroll service instead, you'll want to email the notice to taxnoticeresolution@intuit.com. Make sure to hand write your EIN (Employer Identification Number) on the first page of the notice before sending it. Then, scan the document for emailing.
More details about the steps to resolve notices can be found here: What to do if you receive a tax notice.
Choose a topic here, then look for an article if you need assistance managing other payroll tasks. Our help content is packed with guides and detailed information on handling taxes, managing employees and the likes.

Hello I sent in a tax notice I received from my state tax commission back in September. Since then I have contacted customer support multiple times only to be told to let the tax notice resolution team handle it. I now have a lien against my business and no response from resolution Team.
I wish you didn't have to go through all these hurdles when seeking updates for the submitted tax notice, nicole90.
I understand how updates are relevant, and we appreciate the time you've taken to let us know about this concern.
Let's work together to get this resolved for you. That said, I'd suggest contacting our QuickBooks Payroll Support team again. They can assist you with any updates, and further check your case status with the resolution team. Also, they can help you with other additional procedures in real time.
Here's how to reach them:
Moreover, you can check out this link to guide you in handling your SUI tax rates: Update your State Unemployment Insurance (SUI) rate. It contains detailed information about how UI rate works for you.
You're always welcome to post a reply below if you require additional assistance with payroll. We'd gladly help you further. Take care and have a good one!
