Go to payroll settings then select Accounting. Change the account from there. Try exploring your account. It might help.

I did that but my banking is still off because it shows it from the wrong account last time. Any way to fix that?

I'll help you fix that, peakinnovationmo.

 

When we've selected an incorrect bank account upon running a payroll, we'll have to delete to those checks then recreate in the correct bank account. By doing this process, we'll be able to correct your bank balance. I'll guide in doing it.

 

Before diving in, I recommend taking a screenshot of those paychecks for reference.

 

Deleting a paycheck:

 

  1. Select Workers from the sidebar menu.
  2. Choose Employees.
  3. Select Paycheck List under Run Payroll,
  4. Select the paychecks you want to delete.
  5. Click Delete.
  6. Mark the checkmark box to confirm deletion, select Delete Paycheck.

Recreating a paycheck:

 

  1. Select Workers from the sidebar menu.
  2. Choose Employees.
  3. Select Run Payroll.
  4. If you have more than one payroll schedule, select the schedule, then Continue.
  5. Select the employees you'd like to pay, then enter the hours and memos.
  6. Make sure that you've selected the correct bank account.
  7. Select Preview payroll.
  8. Click Submit payroll, then Select Finish Payroll to complete the process.

If you want to get want a closer look at your business's finances, you can run the payroll reports to view useful information about your business and employees.
