Good day, @JS027.

To import all of your employees' information is unavailable, you'll need to enter it manually, however, you can import the name of all of your employees by downloading and installing the software Intuit Interchange Format (IIF) import kit.

Here's how:

First, follow the steps to download and install the IIF import kit.

Second, once you have the IIF files, you'll need to import them. Please follow the steps below:

  1. Go to the File menu, click Utilities then Import then IIF Files.
  2. Select Import IIF.
  3. Search the file, then select OK. We don't recommend the option Import it for me. I'll fix it later. Since this option bypasses data review, some of the info may not be correct or complete for your books. It also requires that you switch to a single user,
  4. Once the import is successful, you'll see the number of lists and transactions imported. Press Done.

For more details on importing IIF files, please refer to this article: Improved IIF import in QuickBooks 2019 and later.

Additionally, I included an article to learn more about the process of the import and export of data in QBDT: Import and export data in QuickBooks Desktop.

Please feel free to comment if you have additional queries about importing your employee's information in QuickBooks.
