Paycheck is classed in Retirement Sub-account of Payroll Expenses:Company Contributions Expenses Payroll Expenses ?

Good morning, @anmedhealth! I'm happy to see you here in the Community! I can help you edit your payroll expense preferences.

While logged into your account as the Master Admin, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Settings (gear icon) and select Payroll Settings. Here you can see which Expense and Liability accounts are affected when you create a paycheck.
  2. Select Accounting Preferences. Choose your desired account name from your Chart of Accounts from the drop-down.
Note: Account numbers do not appear in this box.
  3. Select OK after choosing all your desired accounts.

Here's the full article if you would like to look it over: Payroll accounting preferences. Another article that may be helpful is this one on editing accounts in your Chart of Accounts:  Add to or edit the Chart of Accounts.

Please feel free to reply to this post if you need any help, or to let us know those steps worked for you!
