Payroll error message "Payroll service and support for QB Desktop 17 will be discontinued May 31, 2020"

This message is to notify you in advance that the services for older versions of QuickBooks Desktop are scheduled to be discontinued.

You'll need to update your QuickBooks to the latest version since 2017 will be discontinued after May 31, 2020.

To update QuickBooks Desktop:

1. Choose Help at the top menu bar, and then select Update QuickBooks.
2. Click Update Now at the top, and then check the box next to Reset Update.
3. Select Get Updates.
4. When the download finishes, restart QuickBooks.
5. When prompted, accept the option to install the new release.

To download the latest payroll tax table:

1. Select Employees at the top menu bar, then choose Get Payroll Updates.
2. Check the box next to Download Entire Update.
3. Click Download Latest Update.
4. Click OK.
