After submitting a request for Payroll Faster Funding (1 day instead of 5 days) on April 6, 2022, I contacted QB because after more than a week, I had heard nothing even though the email acknowledging the request said I would be contacted within 2 business days. The first chat session was exited by QB for no reason after chatting for approximately 45 minutes. QB just quit and said nothing!! During the second chat session on April 15, 2022, I was told QB did not have my application. My email had a 4 digit "Request Number" and I was told it should be 6 digits; therefore, QB could not verify my application. Following the directions I was given, I submitted a second application with all of the bank statements attached again. My confirmation email again gave me a four digit "Request Number". Being concerned that my application would be lost again, I immediately contacted QB and was told the gentleman could not help me and would send an email to the correct department to submit my inquiry. I have heard nothing. I just want to get my payroll on next day funding since that is what I pay for. Any ideas???!??
Hi there, @pbb2.
Thanks for bringing this up the
Once you submit a request for faster funding, you'll need to provide 6 months of your most recent bank statements and upload them with your request. The amount of money you deposit via direct deposit can be adjusted as a result.
Our team will review the request within 1-2 business days from the time they are created. The company and contact information you provide must match what we have in our system. They may need additional information to get your request approved. This will be sent to the Primary Principal and Requestor email addresses.
If you already submitted the request, I'd recommend reaching out again to our Payroll Support Team. This way, they can provide you with further info about its status. Here's how to connect with them:

Thank you for the reply. I uploaded 6 months of bank statements with both requests. I was not contacted within the 1-2 business day timeframe, that is why I reached out the first time. Upon instructions from support, I submitted the application a second time because supposedly qb identifier for the request should be six digits. Both times I submitted the applications with bank statements, I only have a four digit number assigned to the request.
I appreciate your time and effort in following what my colleague suggested above, @ pbb2.

I am currently experiencing this is exact same problem and it is beyond frustrating. Quickbooks support is absolutely terrible. They will talk you in circles for over an hour and then just end the chat with no warning. I'm on the verge of just getting a new payroll service because I can't stand the 5 day funding for payroll.
I'm here to share information about how to request a Direct Deposit lead time of 3 days or one (1) day instead of the initial five (5) days.
Ensuring timely payment for your employees is crucial. We assist you in understanding the appropriate timing for sending your payroll based on your direct deposit lead time.
Firstly, determine your direct deposit lead time, which relies on the specific payroll product you use. If you utilize QuickBooks Online Payroll, you can benefit from Same-day or Next-day direct deposit. However, there may be instances where you have a 5-day direct deposit lead time.
Next, establish the appropriate submission or approval deadline for your payroll. Below are examples of direct deposit submissions for payday on Wednesday and Friday.

I have submitted the faster funding form several times and have never gotten a response. I am still on the 5 days for funding and don't understand why it can't be changed. I have used direct deposit for well over a year and there is plenty of money in the account to meet payroll, so I don't understand why I can't get the funding days reduced.

It's completely understandable how important timely funding is, especially when it comes to meeting payroll obligations for your business.
Direct deposit through QuickBooks should ideally streamline the funding process, given your long-standing history of using the service and the ample funds available in your account.

Guys it has been 3 weeks, you cannot just say nice things here for the public and not resolve real issues customers face. Let us face it, you do change funding dates from next day default to 5 days without any consideration/authorization. Then you literally refuse to revert it back.
I would say to anyone who is using quickbooks, do not submit any request to limit increase, they are going to screw you and your business with changing your funding to 5 days and drag you weeks and weeks not ever resolving it. I am done with this, wasted enough time and energy.
You guys could have easily disabled limit increase in settings saying look if you want to increase we will make your business not functional then customer can decide wether they would want to choose or not. No, you guys just change it and do not care one bit! Utterly speechless, I wonder if these struggles of customers ever reach to upper management or get buried in here. Please, do not reply with your decorative nice pre-generated messages like a bot. We need real resolutions or clear statements that you do not want any customers on your platform!
