payroll forms 941 & 940 2021

You can also update your QuickBooks by going to Help and choosing Update QuickBooks Desktop. The follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.

Updating QuickBooks Payroll does not help the only option available for 940 form seems to be a draft copy of an E-File. When will QuickBooks be updating the desktop 2021-940 print-filing form. I am completed with over 48 companies quarterlies with the exception of this form.  QuickBooks finally updated the 943's when will the 940 be updated.

Since updating didn't work for you, I'd suggest you contact our Customer Care team to help you check what's causing this to happen and help you fix it. 

Here's how to contact us: 

1. Go to the Help menu.
2. Select QuickBooks Desktop Help.
3. Select Contact Us.
4. Enter your concern, then select Continue.
5. Choose either Start messaging with a support expert or select Get a callback from an expert.
