Payroll verification amount not a match

Hello there, @auxiliumgroupny.

Let me share some tips to confirm the verification or test amount in QuickBooks Online.

To start, check the amount either by reviewing your bank statement online or by calling your bank to ensure it matches. The charge will appear on the bank statement as either QuickBooks: Verify Bank or Intuit: Verify Bank.

After you validate the amount and ready to confirm it in the deposit amount box, enter the pennies only, without a dollar sign or decimal point.

If you get the same result, I recommend contacting our Payroll Support. They have the tools to check what's causing this unexpected result and help you confirm your bank.

 Here's how:

  1. Click Help inside QuickBooks Online.
  2. Select Contact Us.
  3. Enter Verify test amount in the description field, then click Let's talk.
  4. Select either Start messaging or Get a callback
  5. Key in your contact details.
  6. Then tap on Confirm my call.

I've also attached some articles you can use after you connect your company bank account, like how to pay employees or contractors and pay taxes electronically using your Online Payroll service:

Drop me a comment below if you have any other questions. I'll be happy to help you some more.
