payroll

My payroll is checked off as assisted payroll but I had a couple of weeks with no payroll to report. Can I enter it at $0 for those weeks or do I need to have Quickbooks do it?

Re: payroll

You don't need to do anything in this case.  Assisted Payroll doesn't see it as an issue if you just don't have a payroll this cycle.

Once you do, you may want to update your payroll schedule to the next actual payroll date.  Do this on the payroll schedule list, which you can access (if I remember right) using the button below the table in the payroll center where you start to create a payroll.

Re: payroll

Hi @JPEly,

It's a pleasure to have you here today. I want to ensure you get the answers you need with your payroll reporting in QuickBooks Assisted Payroll.

Since you're using a full-service program, you'll need to get in touch directly with our Care Support Team. They have the tools to check your account with us and give you the details on what needs to be done for the period where you didn't run payroll.

As much as I would love to handle this for you, I'm unable to pull up your data in this public forum. Here's how you can get our contact information:

  1. On your QuickBooks homepage, go to the Help menu.
  2. Choose QuickBooks Desktop Help.
  3. Tap the Contact us button.

Please don't forget to update me on how things go. I look forward to your response on this, as I want to make sure you're all set.
