QB Accountant Payroll reports

Can anyone tell me why some versions of QB accountant have payroll reports called Client Ready Payroll Reports and some don't?  I have been using QuickBooks Accountant Desktop 2018 and just upgraded to 2019 and the reports are not an option in the 2019 version.

QB Accountant Payroll reports

Hi there, SJ2020-.

The Client ready reports are available if you're using the Enhanced Payroll for Accountant. You can go to your Company Information window to verify your payroll account.

Here's how:

  1. Go to Company.
  2. Select My Company from the list.
  3. Under the Manage your Apps, Services & Subscriptions section, see if you're using Enhanced Payroll for Accountants.

If you have Enhanced Payroll for Accountants account, you'll need to add your EIN from your QuickBooks Desktop. Then, add the service key. For more information, check out this article: Add an EIN to the existing Payroll Subscription.

Just in case you'll need to subscribe to Intuit Enhanced Payroll for Accountant, check these links:

Please let me know if you have other questions or concerns. I'd be glad to help. Stay safe.

QB Accountant Payroll reports

I have the Enhanced Payroll in the Accountant Desktop 2020 version, but I still do not see the Client Ready Reports option.  Where do I locate it?

Hi there, @ jmking.

To access the client’s ready report you’ll have to subscribe for the Enhanced for Accountants. The QuickBooks Desktop Payroll Enhanced for Accountants works the same as the non-accountant version.

However, this gives you the option to add more EIN or companies under it. This means, your clients can use your subscription so they can enjoy the payroll service in their QuickBooks. You can read more about adding an EIN in this article here.
