QB annual payroll subscription renewal billing

I received an email stating my payroll annual subscription is up November 1, 2021 and I will be charged a renewal price. This is wrong. I started my latest annual QB Desktop payroll in April 2021. It doesn't need to be renewed until April 2022.

Is there any way to talk to a live person to straighten this out?

Hi there, @mmestrats.

Did you purchase a QuickBooks Plus Payroll license from a retail store?

If so, the email that you've received might be from the old subscription which remains active. To check, I'd recommend reaching out to our phone support. This way, they can review your account and verify your subscription.

Here's how you can reach out to them:

  1. Go to the Help icon and select QuickBooks Desktop Help.
  2. Click Contact Us.
  3. Write your concerns in the description box, then select Continue.
  4. Select which one of the support options you'd like to use.

Additionally, you can check out our support hours to ensure that we address your concerns on time.

We're open 24/7 and always ready to assist. Just click the reply button below so we can get back to you as soon as possible. Stay safe.

I got a renewal notice today. I should renew in April  - my original signup date, however it has slowly moved to January, despite complaints.

Absolutely no indication of the $$. Is it the same? do we have a choice?

Thanks for joining us here today, @peon.

I'll share some information about the payroll renewal. Your activation date will serve as your renewal date for your payroll subscription. You'll want to check your next billing period by following the steps below.

  1. Go to the Employees menu.
  2. Select My Payroll Service, then tap Account/Billing Information. See the image below.
  3. You'll be routed to sign in to your Intuit Account. Verify your next renewal date.

Additionally, you can log in to camps.intuit.com to check your next billing date. Just choose QuickBooks Desktop Payroll.

You will always have to activate or renew your payroll subscription every year so your payroll taxes won't get interrupted.

I'm also attaching this link if you wish to find your QuickBooks Desktop billing history. It contains information and steps to guide you along.

Please know that you're always welcome to reply to this thread if you have follow-up questions about your payroll subscription. I'm more than happy to assist you. Take care and have a good one.

I got an email stating my subscription will renew on Feb 6th but I already renewed for a year last September 9th 2021 so should not be renewing again now.  I don't want my card charged.

Please confirm this will be taken care of.

Thanks for bringing this concern to our attention, lauriesparks.

When you've already renewed your subscription for a whole year, you don't need to resubscribe. That said, I'd suggest reaching out to our Customer Care team so we can verify the said email.

You can contact them through the ? Help icon. Then, follow the on-screen instructions to successfully get in touch with us.

I've also added this reference for the lists of what Intuit charges on your card: Look up a charge.

Don't hesitate to mention my name if there's anything that I can help. Keep safe!

I do not have any QB payroll clients or employees, yet I received a notice that I will be auto billed $1,649!!

I want to talk to a human.

Is that possible?

Hi there, kene2. Allow me to guide you in checking your subscription charges.

We can sign into your Customer Account Maintenance Portal (CAMPs) to manage and see the billing details of your subscriptions.

Here's how:

  1. Open a web browser and go to camps.intuit.com.
  2. Log in in with your Intuit Account info. This could be different from what you use to sign in to your company file.
  3. If you see multiple products, choose QuickBooks Desktop.
  4. From the Time Period drop-down menu, select a date range of transactions.
  5. You can click the order number to see order details.

I'm adding these articles for more information:

If you have further questions about your QuickBooks subscriptions, I recommend reaching out to our Customer Care team. They have the right tools to pull up your account and verify those charges.

Leave a comment to this thread if you have other concerns about your payroll subscription. I'd be happy to assist you. Take care and have a wonderful day!
