QB says customers who file their 1099s through them will receive an email to confirm. 1099s filed through QBO on January 17 and still no email.

Status says "Accepted" on all 1099s. Customer service says everything is good to go, but cannot advise on a time frame for the email. What is the common turnaround for receiving this email? Thank you for raising your concern here, @operations23. Currently, we don't have a specific timeframe for when the emails notifications will be distributed.

However, as long as the status is "Accepted," rest assured that the forms have been correctly filed with the IRS and are fully processed. If you haven't received an email yet, it's possible that there may be delays in notification delivery, especially around January, the deadline month for submitting Form 1099. The high volume of filings during this period can result in slower processing times not only for the IRS but also for the email notification system. Your patience will be highly appreciated!
