I did try to set up MANUAL PAYROLL 10 time as instructed - by professor and by reference from QB.com
The Error code is 11052 20000 - I need to complete my assignment ASAP - did asked professor and got advised to contact QB help center.
steps I completed . ( no resolved) (preference set to Full - manually payroll)
Setting Manual Payroll
- CLOSE ANY OPEN INTERNET ACCESS!!!
- On the menu bar (across the top), select Employees, then Employee Center.
- Keeping the Employee Center open, select Help on the menu bar (across the top), then select QuickBooks Desktop Help.
- In the blank box, type in: Process Payroll Manually
- You should see a list of topics. Select: Manual Payroll Calculations
- On the opened page, select: Set my company file to use manual calculations
- A box will open, titled “QB Desktop Information”. Click OK
Additionally, you should then check payroll settings by: - Selecting the Edit menu on the menu bar (across the top).
- Select Preferences.
- Select Payroll & Employees.
- Select the Company Preferences tab.
- Select Full Payroll, then OK.
IF You Still Cannot Find, Process Payroll Manually (Suggest that you copy the .ini file before completing below)
- Close QuickBooks.
- Locate the QBW.ini file in this folder location: Program data/Intuit/QuickBooksXXXX.
- Open the file on a notepad. Add this entry at the bottom of the file: [SELFHELPPLUGIN]=0
- Save and close the file.
- Open QuickBooks and enable the manual payroll again. Close QuickBooks.
- Open the QBW.ini file again and remove the entry you've added earlier.
