QBO is telling me I can't file state withholding or unemployment because one of my employees set up is not complete. But doesn't tell me what is missing. How can I fix?

That is very frustrating and usually results from missing hire date or birthdate.  It does usually list at least one incomplete employee as a link you can follow and at least one of the problem employees - like this (with Employee List as a hot link):

 

"To file this form, go to your -Employee List > Employee name > Edit employment to edit hire dates for: 
Amber Harrison"

 

If you have a lot of recent hires, you might want to run a report of all employees showing dates so you can spot any that are kicking it out.
