QuickBooks Desktop 2018. Workers Compensation by Code and Employee

Good Afternoon

I am using the QuickBook Desktop Report Workers Compensation by Code and Employee.  I notice that my Gross Wages are the exact same as my WC Wages.  Where do I set the parameters for WC Wages so they are correct on the report.

QuickBooks Desktop 2018. Workers Compensation by Code and Employee

Hello, @hlusby.

Since this Workers compensation by code and employee report shows workers compensation accruals for each workers compensation code by employee, just make sure to assign the right code to your employees.

This way, QuickBooks can track the premiums you owe as you pay your employees. Also, if they are exempted from workers compensation insurance, make sure to assign them an Exempt code.

You can check your employee's default workers compensation code by following the steps below:

  1. Go to your Employee Center and go to your Employee's information.
  2. Click the Edit button (pencil icon) and go to the Workers Comp tab of the employee's record.
  3. Select the Assign Workers Comp Code drop-down list and choose a code.
