Quickbooks File Data

Hello,

 

Hope all is well.

 

We are a staffing company that does weekly payroll with Quickbooks Enterprise Contractor. When adding new employees into Quickbooks, if the employee does not show for a job and we delete the employee profile from Quickbooks, does the entire profile get deleted as if it was never there or does it still increase the size of the entire QB file?

 

Also, is there any way you can

I have some information about deleting an employee profile. In QuickBooks, when you delete a profile you aren't completely deleting it from the program, you are just hiding it. It is because an employee's file is linked to a transaction. Thus, the hidden profile is still added to your data file size.

 

If you run through a performance issue, you can condense your file through Condense Data utility tool. For details, please check out this article: Use the Condense Data utility.
