Quickbooks Premier 2019 PC - payroll

Payroll is an add-on module that for Pro/Premier incorporates itself into the program so it is always there. You can buy QBDT with or without payroll and for a non-profit you might find a low cost version without payroll at techsoup.com (if you qualify I have seen it free with just $50 admin charge)

Once you install QB and set up your "company" you can add payroll from inside by a click or two. It will be cheaper than buying a standard Premier with payroll in the "box"

Is Premier offline? Is it used like a desktop? I'm understanding desktop are budget friendly.
