Hello there, @daniel-tarasimmo. I can guide you through how they dealt with the issue in Live Account Cleanup in QuickBooks Online.

 

This Cleanup Service is designed to help QuickBooks Online users reconcile past accounts up to the point of the previous year's tax filing, as well as categorize historical transactions back to the user's most recent tax year filing.

 

Starting now, some QuickBooks Online (QBO) customers may see a QuickBooks Live Cleanup Bookkeeping offer in-product. The in-product offer includes information about the cleanup tasks to be done, and the 30-day time frame when buying QuickBooks Live Bookkeeping.

 

QuickBooks Online customers that may see this offer are those with these circumstances:

 

  • Files older than 60 days.
  • Not currently connected to an accountant or ProAdvisor.
  • Not currently signed up for QuickBooks Live Bookkeeping.

 

Experts will do the following tasks as part of the first month’s cleanup service:

 

  • Assisting in setting up bank connections.
  • Categorizing historical transactions (back to your most recent tax filing).
  • Reconciling historical accounts (up to the previous year’s tax filing).

 

Cleanup is unavailable as a standalone offering. It is part of the overall QuickBooks Live Bookkeeping offering. Cleanup is what small businesses receive as the first phase after they sign up for the ongoing QuickBooks Live Bookkeeping service.

 

Furthermore, you have the option to connect with Pro-Advisors. They're a dedicated team that will guide you more about small business platforms. They can also advise you on how to resolve the issue in Cleanup services.

Thank you but that is not my question.

 

*When QB Clean Up Crew VOIDS or Zero out business transactions without advising business or consulting with business owner, how do we report it and to whom? 

 

Has ANYONE else experienced or seen QB Accountants delete, void or zero out transactions entered by the business entity in order for QB to reconcile statements for loans, banks, credit cards accountants without advising the business or consulting with the owner on the best way to make the entry?

As per ChristineJoieR, this service is designed to help QBO users reconcile past accounts and categorize historical transactions to the most recent tax filing.

 

However, if the QB Clean Up Crew voids or zero out business transactions without advising the business or consulting with the owner, you may reach out to our ProAdvisor Team to report or consult this matter. They are the ones who can assist you with accounting matters and discuss this feature further.
 

To contact support:

 

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks account.
  2. Go to the Help (?) menu.
  3. Select Contact Us, and give us a short description of your concern.
  4. Tap Continue.
  5. Choose your preferred way to connect.
