Can I get a copy of my 2017 form 940

Yes, you can get a 2017 copy of form 940 (Federal Unemployment Tax Act) in QuickBooks Online if you have filed this form successfully with your payroll account.

Let me show you how:

1. From the Taxes menu, select Payroll Tax.
2. Select View Archived Forms in the Annual Forms section.
3. Choose the desired form 940 (adjust the liability period if necessary).
4. Select View and then Print.

You can now have a 2017 copy of form 940. If this form wasn't archived, please follow these steps to archive the form:

1. From the Taxes menu, select Payroll Tax.
2. Select Annual Forms and then hit 940.
3. Adjust/select the liability period.
4. Select Archive and then View and Print the form.

2017 does not appear in the drop down menu as an option

The View Archived Forms liability periods only extend back for a year or two. Since you’re unable to find the payroll form you’re looking for, I suggest contacting our live agents to archive it for you.

They can pull up your account in a secure environment and help recreate the forms in your Online Company.

1.  Sign in to your QBO account.

2. Go to Help at the top right.

3. Click Contact Us to connect with a live agent.
