Can I use quickbooks for two separate businesses (real estate agent and an LLC)?

Hi there, cloudninebartend!

One QuickBooks subscription can only accommodate one business. In this case, you can add another subscription under your Intuit account and use your existing credentials. That way, you can easily switch between companies in the future.

  1. Log out from your QBO.
  2. On the Sign In page, click Sign up at the bottom.
  3. Select a plan for your other business.
  4. In the Create an Intuit account page, click Sign in along this line: Adding a company to an existing account? Sign in.
  5. Enter your existing user ID and password and click Sign in.
  6. Enter your company information and follow the on-screen instructions.

The next time you sign in, you will see your list of QBO companies and you can choose which one to open. If you need to switch to the other company, simply click the Gear icon and select Switch company.

We're just right here if you have more questions!
