Join nowWhen I first set up my payroll, some employees were assigned a name with (1). I assume this is because of pervious payroll that was imported from a paid service.
Now when I send an invite to view pay stubs and W-2's through 'Work Force' the invites won't go through because of the special characters. After almost three years I am doing direct deposits for them now, if they wish. I know I can print the pay stubs a W-2's.
So my question: Is there a known remedy for this?

You'll want to edit the employee's names before sending an invite, Wallboard.
Here's how:
Then, try to send the Workforce invite again. If the same error persists, I recommend contacting our QuickBooks support to check on what else they can offer.
Please let me know how it goes, I'd love to help you more.

That was easy enough. Just change the special character(s) to a letter.
Thank you for the help and sorry about the late reply.
