Enter Payroll Taxes Manually in QB Payroll in order to pay State & Federal Tax

I accidentally voided a payroll check that already processed for Direct Deposit.  Doing so reversed all the taxes that were scheduled to be paid the State and Federal agencies.  How can I re-enter in Payroll, so that I'm not paying the employee again, but getting the tax liability back into the payroll area so it gets paid.  I also do not want another entry made into my check register because I already did a journal entry to fix the check itself.  I just want to get the taxes scheduled to pay.

You have me to help you re-enter the voided item, Debh325.

We can create a Check to record the details. Just a heads up, this will affect your check register account. You can review its details directly from your Audit log report. Let me guide you how:

  1. From the Gear icon, select Audit log.
  2. Click the Filter drop-down.
  3. Filter the Date.
  4. Select the Show only these events button.
  5. Select Transactions and then choose Deleted/Voided Transactions.
  6. Click Apply.

I've also added this reference on how to reconcile the account: Reconcile an account in QuickBooks Online.

I'll be around if there's anything that I can help. Keep safe!
