Hi there, bethzeitman.
You can adjust the printing alignment in QuickBooks Online. Here's a guide article for more details: Set up printing alignment for 1099 Tax Forms.
Also, we recommend using the pre-printed forms from Intuit to ensure compatibility when printing it. If you purchased it from a different vendor, make sure that the manufacturer states they're compatible with QuickBooks Online.
Please check out this article for more details: QuickBooks Compatible 1099 Forms.

Yes!! Happens every year to me. I do a test print, then move their stupid box to where it printed on my paper. It keeps moving it too far over. I make sure fit to page is unchecked. VERY annoying. And NO Quickbooks, I'm not paying you for your forms. Your program should be compatible with affordable forms

This isn't the impression that I'd like for you to be left with. The updates and changes to QuickBooks are largely the results of feedback provided by users, just like yourself. That said, I'm making it my top priority that your feedback reaches our engineers and make them understand the urgency of this matter. After all, enhancements and improvements to QuickBooks functionalities are largely the results of feedback provided by users.
Please don't hesitate to let me know if there's anything else I can help you with in the meantime. I'll be here to help you out.

In order for me to provide you with the best resolution, may I know what specific QuickBooks you're currently using? Is it the Desktop or the Online version? Any additional details will be much appreciated.
In the meantime, I know you already went through checking other threads, but one of our QuickBooks users provided a piece of information that helped others having the same issue.
