Hi everyone, I am currently stuck on the taxes part of payroll. I have signed the forms and it wont let me move forward to start creating paychecks.

Hi there, @tamarindoel7-gma.

Let me help you accomplish your task in QuickBooks Online Payroll. It could be that you still have missing information when setting up your employee's account. This can be the reason why you're unable to create paychecks.

To verify, go to the Payroll menu and select Employees. If you see an exclamation mark (!) beside the employee's name, that means you have to finish its setup.

If you already accomplished this task and can't still run payroll, let's perform some basic troubleshooting steps to address the issue. There might be too much cache build-up in your current browser that causing this behavior.

Start by opening your account using a private window. That way, we can check if it's a browser-related concern and fix it. Simply press the following shortcut keys to access this mode:

  • Ctrl + Shift + N (Google Chrome).
  • Ctrl + Shift + P (Firefox).
  • Control + Option + P (Safari).

If the exclamation mark is gone, go back to your regular browser and clear its cache. If the issue persists, use another supported browser instead.

Moreover, you can check out this guide on how to create paychecks in QBO Payroll after setting up your employees.

For the next steps, you can print your paychecks, or pay your payroll taxes.
